Shakina contributed to Amazon’s GLAAD Award-Winning TRANSPARENT Musicale Finale and starred in Hulu’s DIFFICULT PEOPLE. Her play, CHONBURI INTERNATIONAL HOTEL & BUTTERFLY CLUB, premiered on Audible, earning a Drama League Award. As the Founding Artistic Director of Musical Theatre Factory, she’s nurtured numerous new musicals, including Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning A STRANGE LOOP and her own MANIFEST PUSSY. Her achievements have garnered recognition like The Lilly Award, Theatre Resources Unlimited Humanitarian Award, and inclusion in the Kilroys List and OUT 100.

Community Mainstreaming meets the unique needs of people with Autism, Down Syndrome, and other Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). By utilizing their vast network of community connections, CMA helps parents, caregivers and people with intellectual and developmental disabilities — aged 18 and above — navigate the often confusing period following the completion of their secondary education. CMA provides solutions to help bolster the skills their clients already have, and help them live more independently within their home or community.

Red West is a college radio DJ building a website to connect with his listeners. Lead UX Researcher Adam Melgoza and Lead UX Designer Anthony Goldin collaborated to initiate website design based on generative user research.

PrestonMitchum.com is the website for author, activist, and attorney Preston Mitchum. For the past decade, Preston has gained incredible experience as an advocate, organizer, and writer. He has engaged decision-makers at the local, state, and national levels on issues such as Reproductive Justice, LGBTQ equity, and racial and gender justice. Preston is a contributing author to “The Black Agenda: Bold Solutions for a Broken System” discussing the criminal legal system’s impact on LGBTQ people. He resides in Washington, DC where he actively fights for safe bars and restaurants for Black queer, trans, and nonbinary people.

They have written for major outlets including Teen Vogue, Entertainment Tonight, NBC, The Root, Buzzfeed, Essence, Ebony, THEM, and The Grio. They have also served as Guest Editor for BET.com’s Pride month. In 2019, they were awarded the Salute to Excellence Award by the National Association of Black Journalists for their article “When Racism Anchors your Health in Vice Magazine.” And, in 2020, they were recently named to The Root 100 Most Influential African Americans. Their debut Young Adult memoir, ALL BOYS AREN’T BLUE, was published in 2020, with their second YA memoir, WE ARE NOT BROKEN, released in September 2021.

HeyXorje.com is a web portal that showcases everything written/spoken/curated by media personality, producer, and writer Xorje Olivares. Best known for his on-air work on SiriusXM as former Host of AFFIRMATIVE REACTION on SiriusXM Progress Channel 127, Xorje is also a writer, producer and Latinx advocate, whose work has been published on VICE, Vox, and OUT Magazine among other outlets. Xorje has been featured as an openly gay Latino commentator on MSNBC, Fox News, NPR, ABC, and PBS.

DarinWacs.com is the website of Darin Wacs. Artist, Designer, and Creative. Whether it’s sculpture, interior design, or printmaking Darin uses the medium as a means to harness the energy, intensity, and liveliness she feels in the world around her. “I try capturing it through a whimsical use of hue, texture, and form. This playful mix of form, light, and exploration creates engagement and draws attention to, and encourages the viewer to see beyond the obvious. Art and design should serve a functional purpose — to be internally appreciated for its balance, harmony, and beauty.”
